OUR NEXT EVENT - MAY 4, 2012 Join us again in April for historic Downtown Canton's First Friday festival, held the first Friday of each month from 6-9 pm on Main Street. Downtown Canton will rock again this month with live entertainment, special events, food, book signings and artists. Restaurants and merchants will stay open late with First Friday special sales and promotions. May 4 will feature a car show, live music, bounce house, life- size Jenga, and more! Admission and parking are free. Blankets and/or chairs are recommended. Parking is available at many locations around town which will be marked and directed by volunteers. Enjoy a short walk to all the First Friday festivities!  Last October's Kendama competition had a good turnout! We plan to hold these competitions or possibly others like them quarterly. Check back for specific dates. We are all looking forward to this coming First Friday, we hope to see you Friday! A Year-Round Event Organizers plan to make this event year-round, on the First Friday of each month. Some months will have themes, while others will offer an eclectic mix of sights and sounds. Streets are blocked off starting at about 5 p.m. and events run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. In cooler months, festivities start and end an hour earlier. Questions?  Comments?
